    Excellent knife sharpener for home use.

    I have owned many different knife sharpeners: stones, electric and manual kinds. The electric knife sharpener of the same brand is an excellent one if I want to sharpen most of my knives but whenever I need to sharpen just a few, this manual sharpener is just effective without have to plug into an electric outlet and without having to clean up after sharpening. I highly recommend this easy to use and effective knife sharpener.

    Disappoint

    After one week of use and maybe ten knives, this thing won't sharpen anything. An expensive piece of junk. Find a flat rock, you'll do better.

    Very Good Value

    We have a collection of knives. I have used a different diamond sharpener for years, but it is showing it's age. I ran our knives though the process with 4-5 back and forth swipes then again in the edge finishing slot. They cut far better! Even our Japanese knife is cutting better after running it through the #1 slot. We have another higher grade set of knives that I recently sent off to have professionally sharpened. The edge finishing slot on the sharpener will help me keep them in condition. I know the quality of the edge this sharpener produces is not at a professional quality, but then I am not a professional cook in need of that level of sharpness. For less tan the price I paid to sharpen four of my good knives I have a sharpening machine that will keep all of my knives in pretty ...

    Seems to do as it should

    Seems to do as it should. We're struggling with sharpening some knives but think it might be due to the age of the knives, their edges have been sharpened by so many other means that I think they're angles are no longer true. Has worked great on other knives.
