    Wonderful Exploration of Ecosystemic Damage, and Ramifications

    I bought this for the "A Mystery in Alaska" show. I have not yet watched the episode about sled dogs. This is a beautiful, balanced look at what happens when we disrupt the delicate balance of an ecosystem without monitoring ramifications closely. We enter at the decline of the Stellar Sea Lions -- but that is JUST the beginning! A complex web of predators, prey and human intervention create a tapestry that, though complex, is woven clearly and deliberately. You do not have to be a scientist to follow the positive, and negative, impacts of each actor in the chain. What is killing the Stellars? The answer will shock you.
