      Great Solution

      After defective pumps on our central AC failed this summer (the replacement pump failed after 2 months!) flooding our family room. I looked for something to alert us to moisture in the area of the pump. This device was the perfect solution. It's easy to install and is as loud as a smoke detector. It's built well and states that it'll alarm for three days if it detects water. Stand by is a year or so, it'll be another 9V battery replacement just like a smoke detector.

      Water sensor

      Great... I set it in the sump pit right next to where the drain tile water enters the pit. If the pump fails and the water height raises to the level of the drain tile tube, it will warn me prior to beginning to fill the tube going all around the house. Probably about a 2-3 hr. min. warning window during a hard rain. I also fitted this with a 9volt batt. adaptor plugged into ac outlet. If that fails the pump wont run either. A storm bad enough to take out the house power tells me to check the pump pit too.

      Water overflow warning

      Great device. Small and can be placed on the floor or mounted higher using the detachable wired sensor. Uses a 9v battery and has a very loud alert. It works. I had my washer drain in the basement overflow and was thankful I had the warning. I have been wanting one of these for years. At this reasonible price I ordered 3 more Water Alarms for relatives who have simular potential situations. There is definitely NOTHING bad about this product.

      Water Sensor

      I have about 6 of these in setting in bathrooms, kitchen hot water heater room. Gives a great piece or mind knowing should a leak occur I will be alerted. I check the batteries every 30 days. So far no problems. I would not want to be without them.

      Helps preventing water damage

      Installed on sump pump in crawl space , loud enough for us to here it from bedroom. Set to high limit before flood stage so the alarm reminds us to activate generator. Purchased another to set inside catch pan for hot water tank , if tank leaks or safety valve opens. Saves on a big mess!
