This product has been well worth the money.
I bought this product because all of the aluminum shift levers I have used in the past have stripped around the splines within a few months. I decided to try a steel lever to prevent this. This lever was no more expensive than an aluminum one and has held up very well. I also noticed the splines are at a slightly different angle than the levers I have had in the past. Some people might find this uncomfortable, but I found that it put the lever in a much better position for me.
