    Automatically senses PAL and NTSC

    I bought this dvd player because I live in the US and have some DVDs from Europe in PAL format. The player automatically senses the type of dvd format. The only negative is that there is no HDMI output so make sure that your TV has RCA AV connectors.

    Not as claimed.

    1.Buttons on remote are very hard to read - they're way too small. Plus the layout is confusing. 2.Your "All Region Code Free" label is misleading. This machine doesn't recognize different Regions automatically; all the Settings and Default have to be changed. 3. Illuminated messages unclear.

    Don’t buy

    Don’t wast your money on this junk. I paid good cash for this DVD player for it to only work for 5 minutes then all of a sudden it won’t even power back on at all. If u buy this brand type DVD player u will be pissed off cause I promise u it will not last a day. After a few minutes of watching a movie on this DVD player it just stopped working and won’t ever power back on at all. If u don’t want to be a victim like me then please order a different name brand. The batteries that came with it was rusty and dead .

    REALLY BAD DVD PLAYER.

    it was hard to use and when I finally got the picture to come on it was in black and white not color. They said I just didn't program it correctly. Why should I have to program it? I bought a Phillips all region DVD player after this bad experience and all I had to do was plug it into my TV, turn it one and that was it. No problem. JVC your product is just bad. Period! On top of that the batteries for the remote were leaking acid which got all over my hands.
