I recall seeing this game in the arcade with its motorcycle you could sit on to control the game. I really didn't play it too much then, but I picked it up at a Toys R Us for 20 dollars many years ago. I figured it would be just a quick game to pop in and play for less than an hour, but when I started to play the original mode, I really started to enjoy what this game had to offer. The graphics and sound are your standard Genesis fare. Big, bright and colorful. The music is pretty sparse, but I enjoyed getting my Walkman and my Micheal Jackson's Bad tape and racing to Speed Demon and Smooth Criminal. (Actually seems funny now, but come to think of it, was also pretty funny back in the mid 90's) Since the meat of the game is the Original mode, I will concentrate on it. It is a campaign mode where you race to win money and upgrade your bike. If you are used to the bike from the Arcade mode, you will find that your starting bike in Original is slow and stiff by comparison. But once you start to get better upgrades, your bike will exceed the Arcade one. You do have to be careful since wrecking too much will cause your bike to break down. I really just got this game for some quick play. I ended up spending hours racing to Micheal Jackson. So any game that can make racing to Micheal Jackson tunes enjoyable, can't really be all that bad.Read full review
This game was a system seller for the sega genesis / mega drive. 2 modes of play: Arcade mode puts you through 4 different courses around the world in what is still to this day, a blistering time trial. The 2nd version is called 'original mode' where you have to win races and modify your ride through sponsors and mechanics much like Moto racing games on current game systems. The backgrounds are gorgeous, the sense of speed is well established, and most importantly, the controls are tight and responsive. It has that balance in a game that makes it easy to pick up and play, yet throws challenge your way even if you've played it for years. although it's not quite the experience of the arcade version, Super Hang On for the sega delivers the same experience. If you still have a sega somewhere, or are a retro collector for the system, this is an enjoyable game than can be found affordably and will lend some old school credibility to your sega collectionRead full review

Played this game as a kid. Easily one of the best racing games for Sega Genesis, Super Hang-On is still really fun to play. The game itself came in great condition. Clean, cartridge sticker in great shape, box and manual in really good shape too, although slightly dusty. All in all, this was a good buy.
