Crash Bandicoot is back in an all-new handheld adventure that involves saving his island from the diabolical duo of Neo and Nina Cortex. The omnipotent ones have transformed the local animals into hulking mutants in a mad bid to gain control over the region. Though Crash has been in relaxation mode for quite some time, he hasn't let his acrobatic skills atrophy. He's even acquired a few new moves to tip the scales in his favor. The wonder-from-down-under can now engage in frenzied fisticuffs, using combinations of flying kicks, flurrying punches, and dizzying spins to subdue his foes. <br><br>Crash can also ride atop mutant animals, up to 15 in total, after weakening them in combat. This "jacking" mechanic allows players to use each creature's powerful attributes and attacks to help clear the way of other enemies. The world in Crash Bandicoot has changed as well, offering more interactivity than in previous games. Players can swing from ropes, jump off springboards, and even skate or surf on the back of Aku Aku. While the PSP version closely follows the visuals and play mechanics of the PS2 game, it offers an exclusive battle mode supporting up to four players via Ad-hoc wireless connection.

    New and improved ... but I miss old Crash.

    I like new design of characters ... I like new idea about titans and jacking them ... I like animation ... I don't like the way Crash walks/runs ... the absence of shadow (witch makes landing a bit more difficult) ... that his spin was made his secondary attack ... that "beat 'em up" feel to the game ... I miss TNT and Nitro boxes, checkpoints, crystals and mysteries behind getting them ... I was a fan of Crash series from it's beginning and followed it up to it's 6th instalment - "the Wrath of Cortex" for PS2, back in 2001 ... maybe I'm too old and conservative, but I kinda like the old Crash more. Even so, this is very good platform game, and I think I can just grow into liking it through time ...

    CRASH - the way it's suppose to be!

    This game is fun, fast-paced, and exciting for the whole family! Crash meets new enemies and earns new techniques/powers to conquer them. Set in a tropical jungle, Crash battles his way through each level (more than 10 levels)to save his friends. Be sure to read your booklet, though, as beating the titans isn't as easy as you think it is. There are "targets" that appear above them when you've beat them down enough to overcome them. Instead of killing them, you have to jump on their shoulders and control them...where their power becomes your power and takes you into the next level. Very different from anything Crash has ever done before! This game is a must have for any Crash enthusiast! You'll absolutely love it!!

    I love this game

    I love the different worlds and the graffics are good only the loading is a bit slow. the game is ery nice with a lot of colors and has the options of easy, normal and hard

    Great Nostalgic Game!

    I grew up playing Crash, I'm in my 20s & I just had to buy a PSP and this was my 1st psp game purchase. It's silly, lighthearted just as Crash was meant to be.
