    Easy install but need towel for water in tray

    Opened up my old ice maker assemble and one of the small plastic gears broke a couple teeth. Never find parts so purchased this item. Removed a couple screws, pull connector and replaced with new assemble, maybe ten minuets and a towel, check YouTube for doctorial. With new motor and sensor seems like it kicks out ice a lot faster.

    Received the new ice maker for the Frigidaire Bottom Drawer Freezer within in a few days of ordering it. I had pre cleaned the freezer drawer and freezer interior. I prepared the installation by watching a couple of related videos. I received the ice maker and washed the trays and housing with damp dish cloths. The removal of the drawer and inside freezer trays, taking out the old unit and installing the new one took about 45 minutes. Hardest part was aligning the drawer front onto the slide rails. Put a bowl under new ice maker to collect new ice for 12 hours and the discarded this batch of ice. Unit has been making ice as usual for a couple of weeks.
