    Good buy for F-150

Very happy with the purchase! I live in a very rainy part of USA and the bed of my truck is now amazingly dry. Also happy to report that the locking mechanisms on both sides of the cover are keyed the same. Installation wasn't the easiest for me, as I failed my degree at the University of the Mechanically Inept. The instructions and linked videos are simplistic. I could have used more detail (minus one star). Took me 3 hours to install on a F-150 short bed. Fits perfectly, but I almost trimmed too much based on lack of instruction!

    Weird Product

Rails were 1 inch larger... if you are not handy with tools and metals then this might be impossible to install... I had to cut them to make them fit into the truck. Rubbers are thick and sturdy which is great for water but bad for usage... they rub hard. Cover has no ball bearings making it extremely important to spend over and hour adjusting (even twice after a couple of days) since they need to be aligned with planets to run smoothly... mine came with 4 drains... 2 front and 2 back. And the surprise..... 2 different keys (one set for each lock left and right) Please imagine you have to unlock the bed and figure out the keys since someone believed it was smart to have 1 product with 2 locks at 6 feet from each other keyed differently. Rails and metals are definitely over done since they are excessively bigger than standard... looking at it from strength side I believe this should be the hardest on the planet. But it not only rises over an inch... it also blocks the cargo rails.... its not only clamping to the truck (you would think that cutting the rails where the clamp go would do) but they actually are made to sit on top of it and not allow any type of usage of them.... locks are a rubber pin that pressures against the rails (imagine easily bent with a crow bar) IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY (do not stop considering lower quality products) just go with recogized brands since measures and quality matters Overall it is a decent product. Seems strong. Let's wait and see how it stands some time and usage

  • If it won't move to my new truck in a few years, I will buy another

I put this on by myself, Bed cover is Fairly easy about 3 hours. Then assembled the rack, again pretty basic to understand. It Is super sturdy, shake it and the truck moves. I thought it was well worth the expense. Looks very nice, locks up the back end and keeps the weather out. I am going to carry kayak's on it. Ladders and lumber should ride up there too.

  • Easy to install, looks great, no rattles and very water tight.

Really easy to install. I chose to use a floor jack on the inside of the bed to hold the canister part up to install the rails and then lower it in place. This proved to be easier than building it and trying to lay it in and on the truck. They supply you with a slat to determine the width the rails , I based the distance with an 1/8" play and proved to be perfect. It only took about an hour and a half to install. Not complicated at all.

  • Same as high priced Rolling Covers

To begin with: i purchased 2 sets. one for my new white 2021 ram 1500, and the other as a gift for my neighbor's red 2020 ram 1500. See pictures as reference. The installation of both took us about 4 hours . There are some details that always delay more than expected. Once you get familiar with the instructions, all flows well. The material feels like good quality aluminum. It is sturdy, well made. It fits properly in the truck bed, and looks exactly the same as other high priced tonneaus that i have seen around. The locks open with the same key ( two keys are provided) In general this rolling covers look very nice . they definitely change the look of the truck , and the gas mileage. Highly recommended.

  • Tundra tri fold cover.

Pros - Looks great and I really like the low profile. Easy to install. Everything is well packaged and instructions are easy to follow. Compared to others that I looked at it is a good bang for the buck considering some of the other higher end with the same look were hundreds more. Cons - The tiny screws at the front brackets that hold the bracket to the rail should be stainless or something heavier. Heavier guage brackets would be good too. I had screws and went ahead and replaced all of them. One of the screws was broken when I opened up the box. Not a big deal just a suggestion. Overall I like it and I think it is well made.

  • A Surprisingly Well Made Tonneau Cover for the Price!

Material/Workmanship - The rails fit my truck perfectly. They are strong and rigid. The canister that the top roles into is also well made. It is metal (as noted in the ad) and is sufficiently thick to protect the top without being so think to be too heave to work with. The top, itself, is well made and solid. I don't think that I would recommend standing on it, but it gives the impression of being secure. I won't say that the system is "watertight", but it is definitely "water resistant". Installation - The instructions recommend that it takes 2 people to install it. I installed it myself without any issues. All of the necessary bolts, nuts, and washers were provided and clearly described. The installation consists of 3 basic steps: 1) Attach side rails to canister, 2) set canister and rails on top of bed, and 3) clamp rails to bed. There are also a couple of width adjustments, but a single slat that matches the ones that the actual top is made of is provided to use to ensure that the distance between the rails is consistent. Again, by myself, it took less than 60 minutes to install. One note, reading the installation guide was helpful, but actually taking the time to look at the pictures provided is priceless. The clamps that attach the side rails to the bed work surprisingly well ... actually much better than I expected. Appearance - This is exactly the look that I was going for. I leave mine open most of the time and it does not block my back window, nor does it stand out as even being a tonneau cover. When closed, it looks clean. The paint/powdercoat is consistent and, from the side, it is barely visible. With the cover fully closed, I am still able to use my tailgate without obstruction. Function - I lubricated the rails with light silicon grease (think bicycle grease) after installing it. This was not necessary on my part, just a habit when installing anything with moving parts. The top opens and closes easily. Definitely a 1 man operation. Security - If someone really wants to break into the bed of my truck, they are going to do it. This cover will work well to keep the opportunistic criminal from just reaching into the bed of my truck and grabbing stuff. Note: part of why I leave it open most of the time is to make it easy to see that I don't have anything in the bed of my truck. The locks work well and hold the top firmly. It will at least slow down the more determined thief ... and should at least make them have to decide if it is worth the effort to break into. There are 2 locks on this top (driver side and passenger side) and they require separate keys. That is a little annoying, but is not a deal breaker for me. I like the idea that there are not a bunch of people out there that have the same cover as I do that also have the same keys that I do. I guess that balances out the inconvenience of 2 separate keys. Durability - I can't speak to that, yet. I have only had my cover installed for a couple of weeks. Bottom Line - I like the top. It appears to be well made. It looks good. And it is far more secure than a soft cover. I would buy it again and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

  • Good quality bad directions

The product is great quality only problem is the directions are not great. On the one I got the one latch was impossible to latch because of the placement, they sent me a new latch and I took it to a shop and they modified it so now it works flawlessly. It's still cheaper than the competition, and equal if not better quality. If it werent for the latch and the directions I would give it 5 stars you can see in the pictures the one latch was miss placed at the factory. This is what caused the arm to not be in the right position. It was a simple fix and for the price I'm satisfied.

  • Questionable price for medeocre product.

First the locks, only one of them is a lock the other is just to balance and hold roll top in place, When installing the rails to the roller head remember to pop the locks up or it will be extremely difficult to install them, the rest of the installation was easy. Looks good but expensive would have been nice if the other lock worked with a key but there was no disclaimer in the description and not a very accurate details about the product, kind of plain and bland some might think its a little misleading. Still a good product if you want to spend the money and its a lot for what you get....

  • Roll up bed cover

I got my bed cover early which was nice. It did take longer to put together then what they said, but really no big deal. One hole didn’t line up to put a screw in and I had to sand the locking bumper down a little so the latch would close. It is sturdy and rolls up easy so I like it
