Not worth the money
Bought this for my 101 year-old mother. Echo Dot used a bluetooth speaker (Bose) and whenever the Echo Connect was used, the Echo Dot disconnected and used the Connect bluetooth and the Connects's tiny speaker. Too low, too limited in my opinion. It and the echo dot were connected to the internet - assumed they would use the shared internet connection.

Announces calls, lets me make calls on echos including 911 calls
I was tired of the phones ringing. Calls in my contacts are announced on Amazon echos on each floor using my Outlook contacts. I can make calls using voice, including 911 calls from anywhere in the house I have an echo.
