These controllers are FAR better than the controllers that don't have the Sony name on them even though these are not made by Sony and are made for Sony. The joysticks and buttons are more solid. I drooped one in a bowl of water that got inside the controller. I sprayed a bit of contact cleaner on it, put it in a bad with rice and it still works perfectly. I wish I would have bought these before some others I bought before.
