  • The Wilderness Warrior

Douglas Brinkley is tops in his field of conservation history and writes from an informed prospective. I am not a strong conservation person, but love history. I am now collecting an assortment of his books and most are about the development of political conservationism. He explains things well. Little of the traditional moralizations tears to convince you of the cause of conservation. He then adds characters as a focal point, in this case Theodore Roosevelt. I give this book a score of 98%.
