    Bob Wills and western swing at it's best

    In my opinion, this CD is the best of the Bob Wills albums, and a true slice of life from Western Swing music. It contains most of Bob's greatest hits and is cut with many of the original band members. Recorded in 1974, it is of excellent quality and is definately better than the older recordings of his original songs. The tempo is upbeat and you can tell they had a good time cutting this one. Within a little over a year of this recording, Bob passed on, and with him one of the greatest influences on modern music.

    A must have for the collection. Highly regarded and recommended!

    This is the definitive Bob Wills compilation! All the well known and some not so well known songs are here. Anyone who enjoys Western Swing and especially the King himself must have this album.... 10/10! This was Bob's last studio session and he in fact died from complications of a stroke on the day before it was finished. Long live Texas (and Oklahoma) and long live the King of Western Swing! Makes THIS "Bob" holler for sure....!

    For The Last Time is such a great cd

    Anyone that has ever listen to country or country swing must own this cd. In my estimation this is one of the best country swing cd's ever recorded. Merle Haggard drove from Chicago to Austin overnight to get to record with the great Bob Wills. Altho this is the last recording by Mr. Wills .. it is a great one.
