About this product

Product Information

Based on the computer-animated television series airing on the Cartoon Network, Republic Heroes has you engaged in a war between a battle droid army and the Jedi. Set between seasons one and two of the series, the game has you tracking down a bounty hunter named Cad Bane and the villainous Kul Teska across more than 30 missions. Playable characters include Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Cody, Captain Rex, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and Ahsoka Tano. Fight as either a Jedi or a clone trooper across 3D environments overflowing with enemies to shoot, slice, and shatter. Lightsaber-equipped Jedi can use Force powers and perform acrobatic maneuvers, while clone troopers use jetpacks and wield high-powered weapons like rocket launchers and thermal detonators. Team up with a friend at any point with the game's drop-in cooperative system.

    Fun Two Player Game

    Great 2 player game. Seems to balance two players well. If one player gets left behind after a check-point the game resumes with 2 players. Keeps it fun and not needing to prove yourself worthy to move forward.

    Good for collectors but not for gaming

    I got this for nostalgia and because, hey, I love the characters. That being said, it's definitely not a good game. The controls are janky and the camera angles are horrible, and the way cutscenes sometimes cut off is just...not great. If you're a Clone Wars fan and want to run around as some of your faves, it's worth it. Just don't expect much else from it.

    Too Few Good Games for Kids on PS3

    I have a PS3 and was looking for games that I could play with my Grandsons. They are 11 and down so most of the cool games are way too intense for them in my opinion. So a search revealed that mostly sports games and Hanna Montana and very little else. This game was rated Teen, but since the show is appealing to the younger I took a chance. Sees that they already beat this game on their Xbox 360 so not a real excitement on their part. But they play it with me anyway since I was trying. Plus, we all really like Star Wars. Need more really cool games for PS3 for younger kids. I wonder what TMNT is rated?

    Star Wars The Clone Wars Republic Heroes

    Pretty good game. You seem a little restricted at time but sometimes you are allowed to explore the surroundings a little and fight droids. The force is okay but you can only push things with it. You don't get many options for your light saber either. Pretty good game and I am sure they will make it even better next round.
