    Lovely candy: available only when cherries are ripe.

    I love these. In the US they are easy to to confuse the consumer as the American MON CHERI has a hazelnut within (Rather than a cherry with Kirsch "Cherry Brandy"). I first had these in Germany. We had Mon Cheri and chanpagne as we were playing Gin Rummy (card game). It was an enjoyable evening. The Kirsch is quite strong, counter balanced by the sweetness of the cherry. Lovely counterpoint. These 30 piece boxes are less expensive (per piece) than the smaller per-piece boxes. ENJOY

    If you love real Mon Cheri-this is a deal!

    The price was very good for a product that you can't usually find here in the US. It was fairly close-dated, but that doesn't really mean much. It'll be gone long before it goes bad! My husband has loved this candy since it was first made and to be able to buy it as a special treat for him is great! It came well packed.

    Package was damaged

    Despite the candy boxes being wrapped individually and in two layers of bubble wrap each, one of the boxes was cracked very badly which led to the liquid (brandy) in some of the candy pieces to leak out and create quite a mess. I cannot know with any certainty at what point in the transportation process did this occur. The other box of candy arrived with no issues. Unfortunately, I had to give the gift early as I wasn’t sure the candy would keep until Christmas. Other than that, the items arrived in good time. It is just a pity that one box was damaged.

    Mon Cheri chocolates

    Have bought these liquor chocolates for years they are the best you can get but strangely lots of people have never heard of them...only posh chocolate shops sold them and now there are very few of those around thankfully you can get them from online shops...excellent Xmas present
