    I've owned a few H K receivers and was very displeased with the last one I owned so I made the switch to a Marantz and the sound quality is incredible it really brings my speakers to life and I'll continue to be a Marantz owner from this point

    Best sound quality of any receiver that I have tried.

    The stereo is excellent, we have another in the house just like it. We have compared this receiver in the store to some of the best (and most expensive) in the industry, and there was a definite difference in sound quality.

    Well-refined design

    Marantz has been building on the same platform for years now. It's a solid design with the priorities in the right place. I replaced an SR5007 with an SR5008, and I can honestly say the SR5008 is noticeably better, both in sound quality and software reliability.

    I lthink Marantz is over rated and Denon is ever bit as good.

    It was really not better than expected. In fact, my old "Denon" seemed to work easier and just as well. It took a lot of effort and trials to get this one working properly.
