Amazing game. From art style to game play, this game is beautiful. I bought the game because I'm a fan of RPG's and Studio Ghibli. So when I heard of Ni No Kuni, I was super excited and hoping the creators didn't ruin their shot at this perfect combination. The very second I started playing, my skepticism withered away. The story instantly pulled me into the game's world. Especially since it was being told with Studio Ghibli's amazing artwork. The characters are very likeable and they each have a great story behind them. The gameplay is really fun and feels unique, with the way you can instantly switch between all the characters and their familiars. I loved the fact that there's so much to do in the game, even after the story is over. It was really fun collecting familiars, completing bounty hunts and exploring for all the hidden areas in the game. All in all, this game feels and plays as beautiful as it looks and once it was over, I jumped on my computer to see if there was going to be a second game. It's a definite must buy if you want to play something refreshing and/or you like/love Studio Ghibli's work.Read full review
This is a great game for kids of all ages. It has a great story and amazing battle system. Very easy to learn and use. Finding all the familiars, training, and evolving them to their maximum potential will leave you with hundreds of hours of gameplay. They learn new abilities as they progress and their abilities are based on how you evolve them. There are many ways to combine their skills to your liking and to give you an advantage in battle, the possibilities are endless. The game is also anime style RPG, so if you are a lover of the ever famous Japanese anime and RPG type games then this is a must have game.
Very cute game, love the art style which was done by studio ghibli. It can be challenging so even though it's "kid friendly" I wouldn't recommend for kids under 10ish. Fun collecting monsters similar to pokemon. Great music and characters. Main character is annoying tho lol. Very long too, especially if you do all the side quests and grinding. Some glitches/bugs but this version is remastered for the ps3 and is much better than the original.

you start the game as oliver and take company with a fairy.you travel from your home in motorville and travel to another world to save them from shadar and evil wizard.along the way you learn how to use familiars and take company with other people in your fight against shadar.your company also learns how to use familiars.you travel from town to and help the townsfolk do little errands, which in turn get you rewards to help your party.some of the charecters are magic users and some rely on using physical attacks.your charetcer also learns how to use alchemy to help you along the way.doing all this gets you closer to fighting the evil shadar and in turn to the white witch.i guess some compare it to pokeman, although I have never played or watched pokemon so I do not know.my brother says it is better then pokemon, but I cannot comment. to me it is a fun game for the ps3.it is available at some stores for 19.99 and others for 29.99. check it out.Read full review

Ni No Kuni is epically awesome! I've never played a better RPG, and if I have, it's been a very, very long time. The art design is stunning, and from one of the best studios around, Studio Ghibli. The music, is just as amazing written by Joe Hisaishi, who has done previous Studio Ghibli music. I'm 20 hours in this game, and I can say, its one of the best games I've ever played.
This is a great game my son has heard a lot about. He loves it and is very happy we could find it on here.

I just received my copy of Ni No Kuni wrath of the white witch. The disc and packaging are both like brand new and if the game is as good as the demo was its gunna be a good one. I love Studio Ghibli ,who animate the cut scenes.

Perfect combo of studio ghibli and a jrpg. The artwork is amazing and the story line is compelling. I was surprised at the amount of cut scenes in the beginning of the game but they were fun to watch.
