    Inexpensive digital caliper

    I was haveing trouble reading dial calipers, so I bought this caliper off EBay. I was pleasantly surprised to find this unit to be of very fine quality. The machine work was much better than expected. The gauge mechanism worked very smoothly, and returned to zero every time. It came with a spare battery as well.

    Good for the price

    For $30 shipped this is a decent caliper. Easy to read, 3 different scales (fractions, thousandths and mm), auto off as well as switchable. It’s not starrett machinist grade but adequate for home mechanics/fabrication/hobbyist. I require ‘better than tape measure’ accuracy at times and this is perfect.

    Comparable in operation to my Starrett calipers. As accurate, smooth, and gives measurements in fractions, a function not available on the Starrett calipers.It is good value for the price.
