    When OEM is worth the extra $

    A lot of the time, when Honda recommends Genuine Honda Parts you don't necessarily need to follow the advice. I'm thinking 12V batteries, oil filters... however, exceptions include power steering fluid! I tried to save a few bucks and get splash guards that the seller claimed to fit my Accord. Well, they didn't. I describe them like Marv Albert's hair piece : Does it fit? Yes. Does it look good? No. The knockoffs were of poor quality material (I could almost feel the chemicals leaching from the plastic into my lungs) and the contours were all off. The Honda OEM splash guards fit perfectly: they actually hugged the body panels of the car and gave me the confidence that not only did they LOOK GREAT but that they would also help prevent most debris from the road ending up on my car.

    Read up on installation instruction

    Item is good, but I would suggest modifying the installation,. It is not necessary to remove all the plugs in the fenders, just pudding a whole in them with a pin and screwing into them with a metal screw and washer seems to be the way to go. Watch some U tube videos on the subject
