    ubiquiti tough switch - great for video cameras and access points

    Need a switch that does POE for a reasonable price to power your network cameras and/or access points? This is the one. It does both 24V and 48V on a per-port basis so you can power axis cameras as well as standard 48V gear. It's not a speed daemon, but it's rugged and easy to manage. It survives all kinds of temperature extremes so you can stick someplace that is inhospitable and it will keep on trucking. It also has a CLI so you can backup and restore the config, making it data-center and business friendly, as well as friendly for the random home user.

    Wow

    Purchase this thinking it was used, received it in its original box with that original documentation in the original packaging spacers. If this thing was used, I'm not sure how many minutes it actually was because it certainly wasn't for very long. Very impressed. I own five additional eight port switches from Ubiquity. These things are tough and easy to use.

    good match to the edgerouter lite

    I found this to be a good match for the er lite, easy to configure for poe, It is built like a brick and for the one or two poe devices I am running does not seem to get hot.
