    B&W filters are my go to for my vintage Zeiss and Nikkor rangefinder camera lenses from the 1930's and 1950's. Many of these lenses have soft glass front elements so when I find a good one I like to keep it that way with a good filter. B&W uses brass mounts so these filters will always come off easily if you need to remove them, something that aluminum and plastic mounts don't always do. They are also optically excellent so they don't cause a loss of quality in the images.

    B&W filters are my go to for my vintage Zeiss and Nikkor rangefinder camera lenses from the 1930's and 1950's. Many of these lenses have soft glass front elements so when I find a good one I like to keep it that way with a good filter. B&W uses brass mounts so these filters will always come off easily if you need to remove them, something that aluminum and plastic mounts don't always do.
