    Out of the box, the switch I received would not boot up and was entirely unusable. All LEDS on all ports immediately began to flash as soon as power is connected. I contacted NetGear technical support, who informed me that the unit likely has internal damage or has a corrupt flash image in NVRAM, and cannot be repaired in the field. This is not what I expected to receive for this price and it was immediately returned and refunded under eBay's buyer protection policy.
