Lasts 3 hours, not 10 as advertised - Poor Quality
Bought new, used at work today. Charged until red light turned off, meaning its fully charged. Lasted all of 2.5 hour before it screamed that the battery was depleted. Charged it again, red light turned off, plugged it in a second time to make sure its fully charged. On the second day, I got 3 hours. On the third day, I got 3 hours. So that's all this little speakers will offer - 3 hours at nominal volume. Pay up for a quality BT speaker, like the Ultimate Ears (UE) Roll (pricey at 80, but sometimes theres sales), or the JBL Clip 2 or 3 (avg 45 and 65 respectively). My friend has the Clip 2, and it lasts all day, every day, and sounds very clear (i see deals directly from Harmon for about 45). The JBL Clip 3 apparently has a better clip which can be taken off easily, improved sound and ... Bought new, used at work today. Charged until red light turned off, meaning its fully charged. The UE model does not offer handsfree calls, but has even better sound quality that JBL per several reviewers, but cost about 20 more than the Clip 3 - and is a bit larger device. The JBL Clip series can fit in the palm of your hand really easily. The Clip 2 has buttons on the outside rim (also has a 3.5mm Auxillary cable attached, while the Clip 3 has them on the face like the UE, and 1 Aux input. The UE Roll has no Aux input, but also appears better made. Both the Clip 2 and 3, and UE Roll, have ipx7 waterproof rating, not merely splash resistant or water resistant, but Waterproof! The Soundlogic XT is merely splash resistant, which I think is ipx4. It may handle a bit of steam, but the manual says do not intentionally splash or get wet - which is not a good rating for a shower speaker. The Clip and the UE can be submerged shortly in water, and 'partially' floats if using in a pool. The UE also includes a small blow-up float to use it in the pool. Lastly, the suction cup on the Audiologic XT is pretty weak, although its very large. The one I have might have a small pinhole in it somewhere from manufacturing, as it never stays stuck to a surface for more than a few moments even to a car windshield, tile or untexture refrigerator door. That's really lame. I certainly wouldnt choose this device for work, camping, or even shower use. The only good thing it does is pair to phone quickly, and has a decent bluetooth reach of about 35 feet. I definitely dont recommend the Audiologic XT. I think you should choose something else.
