    Right phone wrong supplier

    We have been using the Vtech 6.0 DECT phones for some time, this set was supposed to be new in the box but was opened and the handsets were registered. I am sure someone could use this set but it would not integrate with our established setup. Enough about that - the cordless phones work extremely well and the speakerphone option is a godsend for my mild hearing loss. They may not work as well with the telecoil feature on some hearing aids. I tried it once and had to go to a land line phone. For general use these wireless handsets are a top choice.

    keys are hato press

    I have a few issues with this phone. First of all, the keys are huge and hard to press. Secondly, the Key Tone is delayed. It appears that this phone was designed for elderly people. Thirdly, it stores only 10 phone numbers. I am used to Panasonic phones which are much better. Sound quality is good and the headset is comfortable though. I don't use the landline so much, otherwise I would return it.

    Best Little Vteck Phone Set Around

    I was needing a new phone as the old Vtech was just getting so bad in buzzing and not being loud enough I decided to check out a newer Vtech phone. I found that the CS6719-2 had Great Ratings and since it had two hand sets and the same + more functions I went with this model. It was a breeze to set up using the online owners manual as this one did not come with the Abridged User Manual. Still everything else was in the box. This one has great hearing sound, no distortion, works like my old phone only Better. I would recommend this phone for anyone needing to update you phone. This model is also expandable to add even more phones of the VTech CS6709 type. Love the backlit numbers and interface. Has conference calls with both hand sets so two people can speak to an answered incoming call. ...

    No answering maching/voice mail

    Great phone easy to use and set up. I was a little shocked that in this day and time, the phone does not have an answering machine/device built in; only has a forwarding feature to send the answering function to some other voicemail on another device you have.

    You get what you pay for

    I mainly purchased these phones because I need to maintain a land line for our fax machine, and figured if it's there may as well use it. The phones are very light but have a solid feel to them. Button touch feedback is good. Sound quality is acceptable, not great but it's good enough where you don't feel the need to cut the conversation short or go to a different phone. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase. Have only had them for a couple weeks so can not comment on how well they hold up. While I don't feel any need to return them if I were to buy again I think I would spend a little more money and upgrade a notch of two.
