    Theatrical Cut was BETTER

    I loved this film when I saw it in theaters. This Blu-ray is in excellent condition, but I wish the extended cut of the film was *optional*, because its just TOO LONG and the additional scenes don't "help the story". If anything, the characters are LESS "admirable" (if perhaps more "complex".)

    I have had this movie in vcr & 2 in dvd; I guess you could say it's my all time favorite. My grandmother was half Native American, which is the original reason to purchase movie. I never considering the true story behind the movie & of course Kevin Costner was the main chacter. Wish there were more movies on the true Native American History.

    This is a zone 1 and does not play in my country zone which is zone 4

    Saw this movie on nz tv movie night way back its a classic American western about the so called hostiles and alone Dunbar getting on ward help from them as the soldiers try to track him down as a deserter from his blue coat soldiers close in ect;
