I recently was able to locate and happily purchase a (cir 1914-1918) 1911-A1 with a four digit serial number! The weapon is in all original condition to include the grips and mat hung serial numbers. All I needed to make it perfect wasa second ammo clip. This clip is in great condition for a used clip.

Springfield factory 1911 mags
My experience with the Springfield factory mags was already 100%, and this one I just got has also met that expectation. Being a factory mag, many people assume they're not reliable or good quality, and only the big-name aftermarket mags are worth owning, but they're actually very well spoken of by most Springfield owners, and my experience with several of them has been stellar. Springfield Armory rubber base pad installation.
It would be very helpful if you mentioned that the magazine base has two factory holes drilled for installation of rubber base pad by Kimber. The base holes are close together(more so than other brands) so it seems the Kimber may be the only brand that will fit !!!

Great USGI spec magazine
I purchased these magazines because of my previous experience with the ones that came with my newly manufactured Springfield 1911a1. They definitely function like a USGI spec magazine and are of good quality. For the price that these come and knowing that they are made by the same company that made these for the US military, you can not do any better. It is definitely better than taking chances with other "USGI" magazines that could turn out to be cheaply made knock-offs that will not hold up. They work fine in my Fusion Firearms frame and should work with any full size government spec 1911.I purchased these magazines because of my previous experience with the ones that came with my newly manufactured Springfield 1911a1. They definitely function like a USGI spec magazine and are of good quality. For the price that these come and knowing that they are made by the same company that made these for the US military, you can not do any better.
