    Pet Gear Easy Step IV Pet Stairs 4-Step for cats and dogs

    The easy step stairs 4 steps arrived before scheduled date when it was to arrive, which to me was good. The step stairs arrive in a big box without any damages. At first glance I thought it was going be complicated to assemble. I soon read the assembly instructions and it turned out to be easy to assemble. No tools was required, the instruction indicated a rubber mallet, yet I did not used each part was easy to snap together. Once I assembled the steps it was sturdy and safe for my big and small dogs and also my cats. The small dogs were a little scared at first, once they climbed the steps a few time to got over their fear. The animals like the stairs and so do I. I have one little dog she is old 17 years old, I can not let her walk down or climb the stair because she might stumble ...

    Wobbly

    These are very wobbly. I have tried them on both hard and carpeted surfaces and they shake back and forth as the dogs go up them. Our dogs are unsure and frightened about using them. The whole bottom portion is open so it seems to sway as our small 20 lb. dogs climb up with much coaxing. One of our dogs is so frightened to come down the stairs she will jump off of our REALLY TALL bed rather than go down them. I have to grab her collar just as soon as I get out of bed or she jumps. I am afraid she's going to injure herself. I blame myself for not doing more research on this product. Haste makes waste is so true in this case. We would NEVER buy these again.

    Great steps

    A little taller than I expected, however top step was only a couple inches above the bed - it allowed the dog to see the steps easier. Made of plastic, however pretty stable. Only a slight wiggle some times when my 70# dog goes up the stairs. Had to nudge him up the first time, now goes up by himself. Better than lifting him up. Carpet on step treads take any slipping issues away. Price competitive, if not better than others. Doesn't fold up, but don't need.

    Good design

    Steps are wide enough and tall enough without being too steep Although they are plastic there design makes them very sturdy . They are lite enough so they are easy to move but enough wait with the rubber feet to make it stable.
