    dryer lint screen replacement

    My dryer is about 20 years old and the lint screen finally came detached from the frame. I ordered a generic replacement due to 1) an original replacement would cost over twice of a generic, 2) and due to the fact the age of the dryer, I felt didn't justify the cost. I have been using the generic for about a week and appears to fit, but the cover would not lay flat. I replaced the white cover with my old one cover and now everything works as it should.

    Kenmore Lint screen

    The handle has four plastic snaps, but only one was engaged, two were out, and the 4th broken. I needed to put into a vice and force those two to engage - tough to fit. The screen was too wide for the opening, but perhaps there is a fit problem inside my dryer.

    My wife loves the screen it is so much better than the one that came with our dryer we love the flex at the handle because that is were ours always broke when you pull out the screen the flexing part is great we love it I would recommend it to everybody Thanks

    Lightweight with great features

    This lint screen is great at filtering lint from laundry. I clean lint from screen & put back in dryer. Then I take it out after next load and it is full of lint again! This happens every time I dry my laundry. It is amazing! This screen is very light weight & easy to clean. I can take it out of my dryer with minimal effort. Cleaning lint off screen is also very easy. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a dryer.

    Lint Filter

    I was pleased to find this on Ebay. I had called Sears parts and it was almost twice the cost of this filter. It seems to be of similar quality to the original. Color is a little lighter, but not a problem. We will see if it last as long as the original. It should last the rest of the life of the dryer.
