    TLDR, the monitor works great, but HDR cannot be used simultaneously with high refresh rate (>60hz). The OSD is... ASUS style, very disappointing piece of... firmware. If this is like the other ASUS monitors I purposed over the past decades, it should last a decade. Pros: - 165hz (overclocked), very smooth visuals - narrow bezels - almost zero backlight bleed on my unit - adaptive-sync - ELMB sync (Extreme Low Motion Blur) (fancy backlight strobing) - 165hz (oc) can be ran with adaptive-sync and ELMB Cons: - HDR mode locks refresh rate at 60hz... THIS IS A KILLER FEATURE... THAT CAN'T BE USED??? - Depending on the DisplayPort cable and the connecting port, the OC might cause the screen to blackout. The OSD will stop working too, you will need to connect via HDMI or another input, go into ...

    Best 1440p gaming monitor. Period.

    After researching for months, comparing refresh speeds, ghosting, blur busters, response times, and overall features I finally settled on this monitor. The dual certification for gsync and freesync is a plus as well as you can use it with game consoles too. I own two of them and after 2 years they're still the best available.

    Powerful Monitor for a good price

    It's a great monitor, I like the easy options to go from eco mode to full gaming mode with a toggle in the back. Syncs well with my Super 2060 RTX and AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. Gets a bit warm but 1440p monitors and 144hz+ are prob hotter than my old 20 inch dell with 60hz max.

    As good as it gets for this price tier

    Works fantastic. Definitely some IPS glow on the bottom right of my monitor but I stopped noticing it after the first day with it. Definitely a reason why it's in the top 4 of 1440p 144hz monitors (with the Dell, Lenovo, and LG together sharing that rank)
