    Purchased two optical laser drives with replaced capacitors. Arrived in good condition. Packaged well. Not too difficult to install, even without much experience. Both my GameCubes can now read game discs again :) One did appear to have a loose capacitor inside, but did not impact gameplay, and was advised by the seller that it should not cause any issues.

    My 15 year old DOL-101 system had a dying laser as a result of already poor capacitors. I swapped out my optical drive with this brand new one, and everything works like new. The optical drive I was given was packaged expertly, and nothing was broken whatsoever. The solders appear professionally done, and the drive board was obvious cleaned before shipping.
