    An effective yet inexpensive antiseptic.

    This Mercuro-Chrome is an effective antiseptic for an inexpensive price. It is very reminiscent of the mercuro-chrome I used as a kid, that red liquid with the stick and all attached to the inside of the lid, but so much safer, because it no longer contains mercury. A really great value for this still very effective antiseptic. I enjoy being able to reach for this product of yesteryear when the need arises.

    needs the mercury compound

    It is not the same as Mercurochrome. I have used Mercurochrome since 1930's . It worked very well as an antiseptic and a local anesthetic. I don't know how antieptic this ne i but the anesthetic pa rt doesn't work. The lidocaine does't work. I recomend it with these qualificatios.

    Takes out soreness quickly

    My Mother used this product when I was a child, I used it on my children growing up my son still comes over to get Mercurochrome on cuts. It will take soreness out fast. I love this product I had a hard time finding it online shopping is new to me and to be able to find it I was excited. I gave my son two of the three bottles so he has some and he uses his own his children. Thank you I love this product

    Mercurochrome is not sold in stores any more and I use this product and it really heals fast!!! Love this product.

    Don't buy

    It does not have any mercury in the product, It is implied by the name Mercurochrome. The bottles I purchased, were very weak You might as well use a compress or Iodine.If you do buy this, you might add a touch of iodine .
