    Nice Unit at very reasonable price

    So nice not to have to keep paying rent to my internet provider when I can buy this unit and pay myself back with the savings in well less than a year! I don't know how the cable companies can get away with only renting these units at an exorbitant price without offering the customer any option to purchase it outright.

    Works very well with optimum, even this is older model but provides DOC 3, and connection is fast also works well for the phone. Main reason i needed this modem as i was offered free home phone from my provider. very good price compare to 200-300 voip models from her makers. been using for 2 months, no issues.
