    Starter scope for great results.

    If you're a budding astronomer this is a great scope to get acquainted with our celestial neighbours. Search YouTube for tutorials on using an Equatorial Tripod so you can set it up properly, this isn't a point and look scope. The rewards are fantastic with object tracking made simple with the easy to use control knobs. Find one, buy it and enjoy.

    my telescope

    i have a bad back which is why i brought a reflector telescope. I have taken my celestron 31042 astromaster 114eq off the tripod that came with it and put the telescope on the computerised drive unit of my skywatcher 104. fab ! now all i need are clear nights...

    Most useless thing I have bought

    My granddaughter's Christmas present, even using the manual for setting up and still cannot get images through it. I have contacted party but no response. I think it is not complete. Very unhappy.

    Good value telescope.

    I bought this as my first telescope and have used it to look at distant object on earth and also the moon. The scope to locate objects is quite difficult to use but am gradually getting the hang of it. It was really good looking at the craters on the moon and I am looking forward to enjoying it more on clear nights.
