Product Information

Gabriel Knight is an author and owner of a rare books store in New Orleans. His subjects are quite unusual and his latest book has to do with a series of voodoo murders. As Gabriel, you get to investigate these murders not only in the mysterious locales of New Orleans but in Germany and Africa as well. You won't be alone in your travels and investigation either. Gabriel hires an assistant, Grace Nakimura, who helps him run the bookshop and gets involved in the case (but not as actively as in future Gabriel Knight adventures). During his investigation of recent "voodoo murders," Gabriel gets drawn into his own past, a past filled with bizarre and strange ancestors with a rich heritage of dealing with the macabre. Not only does Gabriel find his own life in danger, but those of his friends as well. Is there a curse on the family name? Have his ancestors left a legacy of dabbling in the dark recesses of our world and inadvertently forced Gabriel into a life of crime solving with supernatural and occult-like overtones? Welcome, to the world of Shadow Hunters, where dreams turn to nightmares. Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers uses a point-and-click interface in conjunction with drop down menus and icons and is played from third-person perspective.

I can't play it!
My computer is too advanced for this game... I'm still trying to figure out what to do to play it, because this is one of my favorite games. :(

The game Gabriel Knight is one of the best games created. A mixture of skill and ingenuity lead the player to unexpected repercussions, the graphics are of course many years ago, so we can not expect much from the video quality, but the storyline makes you forget the graphics. The Gabriel Knight author Jane Jensen is a brilliant writer, because the game comes from his books of Gk, unfortunate that after the trilogy, the game has never been pursued because of misunderstandings between the author and publishing companies. The entire Gabriel Knight series is great! Unfortunatly this particular copy I bought was to old to run on my machine but I am going to find a newer copy. I have played and really enjoyed the rest. The Beast Within is really good if your happen to be a Twilight series fan.
