      bad motherboard

      Ordered 7040 board to replace a working board with a mangled USB port. The board did not work. 3 amber flashes with 6 white flashes means bad motherboard. replaced CMOS battery and reset bios, still failed. could not get any video to attempt bios recovery. it is trash.

      You might need to change some Bios settings when changing MOBO, keep that in mind. Overall a great value and saved the day for me.
