    C300, best pound per GB and speed SSD on market

    Before this SSD i had the C300 64GB, absolutely loved it... fast,stable, reliable drive that i've never had a problem with. Except the capacity is slightly small even just as an OS drive and i ended up having to go through my application data emptying unwanted data. So then i saw the 256GB version and decided this drive would be perfect. Same read speed but higher write and now i can fit all of my apps instead of having to have all my games on my HDD. This drive has got to be the best pound per GB and speed drives on the market from a well established brand.

    An excellent upgrade option

    This is my first experience with an SSD and so far I am really impressed. The Windows 7 HDD performance rating increased from 5.9 to 7.8 out of a max 7.9 score. Boot up time is about a third of what it was with standard HDD. Overall my laptop is noticeably faster and more responsive in every way. Take the time to Google for some SSD tweaks to get the most out of the drive, the changes I made increased the performance rating 0.1 so it's worth doing. Obviously only time will tell as far as SSD reliability goes as these drives are new to the market. I've only had the drive a couple of days so can't comment.

    You Get What You Pay For

    Moving from SATA to SSD drive improved my boot up time from 3 mins 30 secs to around 1 minute 20 secs. Its is a very lightweight device and robustly built. I have used crucial ram for years without any problems and this unit appears to be of the same abouve average quality.

    Like getting a new computer

    It made my PC several times faster. It is like buying a brand new model. I used gparted to copy my data over from the old hard drive.

    It just what I needed, Awesome

    RealSSD C300 256 GB is fast!!! Doesn't freez like other ssd drives. could be cheaper. excellent for main system.
