Transformers have bandwidth meant for vocals with the tubes used. Lower impedance tubes or opamps will drive the transformers 20-20kHz. Power output is likely a few hundred mW, enough for head phones. The cathode resistor on the output pair has burned the circuit board, so these are run hot.
