I haven’t been able to use it it yet. I’m still designing a router table, so I can’t give a good review, other than the quality is very nice and appears it will work great. I don’t like being asked for a review within a few days of receiving an item. It takes a little time to use the it before you can give an honest review so others can make a decision to buy or not.

This is an older version model of the Kreg Router lifter. The quality is good and solid. That being said I can see clearly why Kreg has redesigned this tool. I would not recommend this version of the device over the current design. It’s not very easy to use and the spring loaded system is jerky and unrefined. But in all fairness still a well made tool.

I installed the Kreg router lift yesterday, and noticed that while the two narrow ends were flush with the table top, the wider sides weren't. So I took a straight edge and came to find the plate is arched in the center. I have an incra router lift also, and I thought being similar designs, for the price, thus one(the Kreg one) was a bargain. Lesson learned. The Incra is dead flat and has never given me any problems and I have had it for over five years now.

Had a regular kreg router plate in my table saw/ router table. New lift dropped right in ready to work. And work it does, easily adjusts up and down even smallest adjustments. Changing bits is a dream! Want this for quite awhile, happy now
