  • My Go-To Go-To Scope

I have bigger and more powerful (and more expensive) telescopes than this one, but this is the one I find myself using most of the time. It is very easy to set up and align, and even a beginner can be slewing all over the sky in under an hour of orientation. I upgraded mine with a laser pointer finder, but other than that it's just like this one. It's not really good for astrophotography, but for learning the sky and enjoying the views, it's hard to beat.

  • Great scope

I have a 70mm refractor tube style, which is fun, but can be frustrating at first. This is way more sophisticated and involved. I really like it so far. The clarity of objects and abilities to see more of them makes it worth while stepping up my game. It's very sturdy and looks good. I do wish the finderscope was positioned a little more forward tho.

  • Celestron needs to spend a little more.

This is a mediocre telescope. I use to find objects that I donb't necessarily know where they are. It does work good for that purpose. The tripod is shaky at best. I have tried lowering it, for more stability, and while it did help, you can tell Celestron didn't spend ANY money there. Eye-pieces are cheap, but functional.

  • I couldn't thank you enough!!

I would of never thought I'd be able to afford one of these computerized telescope's. It's still in original box and everything in it. I'm excited to spend some time with my teenagers as they started getting into astronomy. Thank you so much for everythin

  • It works!

Haven't tested everything on scope due to time/weather, but seems to be working. AAA+++
