    A wonderful edition to add to your collection of Aesop's fables.

    The book features pages from a 15th century Florentine manuscript traced to the Medici library. The text is in Greek accompanied by miniature illustrations. Each page, following the introduction, shows the original text and illustration and one or two of Aesop's fables in English followed by the moral of the story. It is beautifully designed and executed, and delightful to peruse. This copy was purchased for an Italian friend. I already had my own copy so I knew it would be wonderful.
