About this product

Product Information

The groovy deejays at L.A.'s hippest radio station rail against the revenue-hungry corporation that pulls all the strings. Company bigwigs want to load up the airwaves with snazzy rock-and-roll commercials for the Army, but the jocks bristle at the new "improvements" and eventually go on strike to regain control. A crowd of supporters gathers outside as the radio personalities commandeer the station in order to spread their positive, carefree message to the public. Maybe Mull's finest performance, major contemporary music star power in cameos and performances, and a sizzling soundtrack.

  • FM VHS MOVIE

This movie epitomizes the era of AM radio...FM actually was the death of "REAL" AM radio...AM was COOL DJ's spinning HOT platters...now it is nothing but 24 hr news and infidels. Back then...all the "cool" stations were still on AM...but that title just did not work for the movie. "AM" was where individuality and non-conformity still existed...FM was automated and - sorry to say - now both AM and FM are today. The only real radio of yesteryear today is .... Pirate!

  • FM (1998) VHS

Brought back great memories of my time at college. I only ever had the soundtrack and did not get around to seeing the film. Now I know the story that these brilliant songs were a vehicle for.
