    Get 2 for the upmost in portability!

    The IBM/Lenovo Docking Station 2504-10U is a great system I use everyday. I bring my T400 to work everyday. I have a monitor, speakers and network hooked up to the dock. All I do is simply slip the laptop into the dock, and use the resulting combination just like a desk top with two monitors. I have the same set up at home, so if I have to do work at home, I'm all set. You could hook two displays up, and the extra usb hub in the back comes in handy to hook up peripherals. The dock comes with a Centronics 25 pin printer port which is currently mostly obsolete. If you shop around you can get one of these for around $20, but the convenience pays off that small price quickly. I like the key because I can lock my computer on the dock so no one removes it with the power on. All in all, great ...

    made my laptop run like a desktop

    I wanted to have the convienience of a portable laptop, yet use it as desktop computer at home. Docking Pad accomplished this perfectly! And, as an extra bonus, the docking pad adds more USB ports (and it has reached the point where you can never have enough USB ports!) Love being able to use a standard keyboard, mouse and monitor also.

    A great docking station, it fits well and is of good quality. It's just what I needed. No problems using it. Just plug and play. If I see the need in the future, I'll buy another one!! :-)

    Lenova Docking stations

    Works well - the power socket on my T61 computer has become intermittent, but using the docking station solved that. The usb ports on the docking station didn't work, but I don't know if it's a problem with the docking station, or a compatibility issue. Doesn't really matter to me, but it might to someone else with a T61.
