    'Less you got a real kool Lady, this ain't a chickflick

    Sly is one of my more favorite actors, and Jett Lee has mad skills. I figured with those two it would be hard to go wrong. Personally, I can do without Mickey and Dolph, but they did add to the movie. There was enogh action and things blowing up that I truly wish I had seen it on the big screen. I'm going to watch it again this weekend with my oldest grandson. He's crazy about 'cycles. (Grandpa has three) Like action? Like Sly? BUY IT.

    Completely enjoyed this movie, while the price made it better!

    I wanted to see this movie but didn't get the oppurtunity while it was out. When I fond it for a good price I purchased it. As a fan of action movies it was fun to see all of these characters interacting in one flick. I found it entertaining, but do have to agree that the dark lighting of the film does affect the overall enjoyment and experience. It was easy to place this movie in the better side of the action movie genre.

    The Expendables (DVD, 2010)

    Non stop action, great cast & Sylvester Stallone did a great job as Director. I am so looking forward to seeing Part 2, I love Jason Statham and I cracked up when our ex governor of California popped up in a cameo appearance, Arnold looked odd, or huge and still has that accent, too funny. I loved this movie and hope the sequel is the same.

    Great family fun.

    I buy any movie that I want to watch for a third time, especially if I have to rent it to see it. I have all 3 of these and often binge watch them. Action packed, exciting and fun. Love it!

    Boring, even in the dark

    Sometimes movies live up to their hype. Sometimes they don't. And occasionally, they don't even come close. Most notable feature about the "Expendables" was the intentual lack of lighting. Perhaps it could be someone's attempt to make an action movie "artsy", but action scene lose most of their punch if it is too dark to see the action. Even daytime, indoor scenes were shot mostly in dimly lit bars. It makes a viewer wonder, "What it is that they are trying to keep us from seeing"? If you want to actually "see" an action movie, this is definitely NOT the one.
