    A marvellous film

    My wife & I enjoyed this wonderful film so much -we saw it twice- that I ordered it for an American friend. Zeffirelli has directed many good films, but to me, this was his best. A very realistic film, shot mostly in Florence (and some in the Uffizi Gallery) with realistic dialogue (not that easy for drama). A great human story. If you've been to Florence, then you must get this DVD. My only regret is that this film -with an all-star cast- isn't available on Blu-Ray. It deserves the best! Wake up, MGM!!

    Great find of a favorite movie at a reasonable price.

    This is one of my all time favorite movies because the characters are so endearing. How could one miss with such a group of exceptional actresses all together in a riveting story of Italy right before the beginning of WWII. It has been hard to find on video streaming services so I am happy to have found a dvd in perfect new condition.

    Disk will not play in usa

    The owner of Tea with M kept the American comparable disk and sent me the uk disk inside the American package. That disk is not playable on American machines. See how I was ripped off!please get my refund.
