what my ATI Titan needed
Replaced the recoil spring assembly in my 1911 ATI Titan .45 which was poorly designed. A check on utube found recommendations for the Kimber replacement. Disassembled ATI and was unable to get it back together due to poor design of factory recoil spring assembly. Utube listed numerous issues with factory assembly and also factory assembly self destructing early on. Substituted the Kimber assembly and put the ATI back together effortlessly. Ran 50 rounds thru the ATI on the range. Performance top notch. Just handling and looking at the Kimber assembly gave me the feeling of a high quality product. Perfectly engineered for ease of use.
This is what Colt should have provided for their Defender models to begin with. Now the take down and assemble of slide components is easy. Cheaper than other sources with oem Kimber part.

Perfect fit for Colt Defender
Fills gap below muzzle that the stock colt parts leave. Sturdy 1-piece construction replaces stock springs,, spring guide, and bushing. Also makes breakdown and reassembly much easier. This is a great replacement for my Colt Defender even though it is a Kimberling part.

Fits my para warthog double stack 45
I searched everywhere for a replacement for my para. And had no luck. Decided to try this since it is a better replacement without knowing if it would fit. It surely does. And sadly is a better fit then the stock para parts. Glad I tried it! Didn’t shoot yet but will soon and update if needed.
