It was filthy inside the brass and aluminum threads has some sort of residue, buffing compound maybe? Also, the aluminum portion is cast and the internal machining is not symmetrical. Lots of casting flash inside the bucket. The external aluminum finish is very well done but could use more 3000 grit polishing. The glass headlight has black tape and some sort of white glue holding it together. I took a star off for the cheap light.
