Good quality
Nice color. Little work required to fit and polish. You will still need nut files to set the correct string height for your guitar and small amounts of adjustment are required for a perfect fit. Which makes this nut no different than any pre slotted nuts, some require more work and time. This nut is a time saver fod people doing this kind of work. Not intended to be glued in and played.

Great upgrade
I put this on my Les Paul Standard and it is a great improvement. With a little adjustment it fit right in perfectly. The guitar sounds better and sustains forever. The big improvement is no more D/G string twang when I am tuning. It also stays in tune a lot better. Thank you.

Worked like a charm
My Gibby wouldn't stay in tune so well. I was told I must try a bone nut. I'm so glad i did. Not only does my LP Standard stay in tune, it sounds way better. Resonates very even across the range. The nut has a little extra meat with height and the edges stuck out a wee bit. So it did take some time filing it down. I'd rather do that than shim a nut that's not tall enough.
