    Direct fit replacement.

    Very happy with my purchase. I bought this motor to replace a 12 year old pool pump motor that had gone bad. I was able to install it quickly with the help of a quick YouTube video to make sure the seals were installed correctly. It is quietier than my previous motor so I'm sure my neighbors are probably happy with my purchase also.

    Runs great, compatible with pump.

    Backyard Pool Superstore delivered this pump motor very promptly. For a fumble-fingered amateur like myself, I can't say installation was a breeze, but I did manage to install the motor and it's humming along like a champ. Hopefully, it will last 14 years like the first one did.

    Poor Quality

    Motor overheated within minutes of start up. Continued for about three weeks and completely came apart. Lucky we had a gfc outlet or could have been worse. Pay the additional money to get a quality replacement.
