    Might work for some, but not us.

    Ok upfront I purchased this at a HF store about 2 months ago for $29.99. It was to slice pork loin (@$3+ Lbs) thin as a substitute for Bacon (@ $7+lbs). I did not expect to get a $199+ Metal meat slicer. Just a simple variable thickness meat slicer for simple meat slicing. YES !! It will cut pork loin to thick-cut bacon slices or ham sandwich thickness. It is plastic and requires both hands. 1 to slice and the other to hold it in place as moves everywhere on the countertop. The path where the sliced is to fall, bunched up more than falling on the on the catch plate. The cutting blade is a good safe and tight fit to the motor. But required a pair of pliers to twist the lock to uninstall or reinstall. PROBLEM: Bits and pieces of the sliced meat got under various covered areas and ...

    My Krups meat slicer stopped working. It was the same design but folded a little smaller. This was like new so I bought it and was not dissapointed.
