The Hold and On/Off are on the same button, even by following instructions of pressing Hold button twice to get readings, the unit turns off on first Hold press and pressing it again turns on but would not register water parameters. I tried it many times and even took out battery to reset but I still could not get it to work. I just think the unit was badly designed.
